Hot take: San Diego is the BEST place to have your engagement session.

San Diego is a true paradise on Earth with its warm beaches, tropical foliage and diverse landscapes. You can choose to dress up or dress down, and still have a great time! This engagement session included a sunrise swimsuit moment which was TONS of fun! Coronado Beach is a stunning spot with its grassy sand dunes, historical architecture and rocky levies. We chose this location because the couple love visiting it often and knew they would have tons of fun here!

When To Have Your San Diego Engagement Session

The San Diego region typically has wonderful weather year-round, so your options for dates are limitless! September-November and April-June boast the most ideal temperatures; not too warm, but less wind chill! I personally recommend having your photo session around sunrise, so that the air is cool and the beaches are empty. It is pretty magical to have a whole beach to yourself in the early hours of the morning!
