Suncadia boasts sweeping views of the lush surrounding forest, accessible creeks and ponds, and miles of trails to explore! Your options are truly endless when exploring this region both for photo sessions and play.

The Lodge – Suncadia Resort

One of the main attractions for Suncadia guests is The Lodge. You can book this large condo-styled resort via AirBnb or directly through Suncadia. The surrounding environment includes sweeping forest views, an overlook stand, and paved walking paths through the forest. If your family needs an accessible location, then this is the perfect spot. The majority of the trail is paved!

Additionally, The Lodge is a fantastic photo location because it is accessible year round! Because Suncadia is a holiday family destination, they ensure that roads and pathways are cleared for visitors to venture and explore!

Riverfront Park

In addition to The Lodge, you can find Riverfront Park inside the Suncadia property. The park is accessible by car or by a set of stairs from The Lodge down to the park. You can access waterfront views, forest trails, and rocky terrain that might have a deer or two nearby! This location is great for families that want to go on more of an outdoor adventure for their family session.

Downtown Roslyn

The last location I would suggest is actually next door to Suncadia! Located just a few minutes down the road is the quaint town of Roslyn, Washington. Roslyn was a coal mining town in the 1800’s, but today it’s a sweet destination for tourism and history. Many of the buildings in the center of town are original structures from the 1800’s, which make for beautiful backdrops to your family photos!
