Cassidy + Austin Spokane Summer Micro Wedding

Austin + Cassidy’s Spokane Summer Family Micro Wedding was so sweet and full of love. Every guest was fully supportive of the couple and there to make it the best day ever! It was truly a day saturated in joy, love and celebration!

Originally Austin and Cassidy were supposed to get married in the middle of July, but when COVID hit they decided to actually move up their wedding to June! Looking back on this summer it was the best decision since they were able to have most of their family in attendance (rules in Washington state changed in July/August).

There were a few things that I really loved about this day:

  1. Austin and Cassidy actually pulled off a BEAUTIFUL first look during the ceremony! Sometimes timing can be challenging with a ceremony first look to make sure they have plenty of time to take photos together, but they planned their day so intentionally that they were able to have this beautiful moment as well as enough time to relax and take portraits together in Green Bluff!
  2. Their families. It is truly special when you see both sides of the couple’s families be so supportive to not only the bride and groom but the rest of the family as well! It felt like everyone had been family for many years, and that is SO special.
  3. JOY! There were so many joyful moments in this day that just brought huge smiles to my face. Everyone standing behind me and making silly noises while we took photos of Cassidy’s sweet niece. The car parade that surprised the couple at the end of their reception. The oopsie and laughter that followed when Austin bumped Cassidy and spilled a little communion wine on Cassidy’s dress during the ceremony. And Austin + Cassidy’s vivacious love for one another. So many things that just made the entire day SO joyful!
