The Johnson Family’s fun Summer session at Normandy Park, Washington was one of my favorites this year. I have been photographing this family since the youngest child was still in her mamas tummy! It has been such an honor to witness and capture the growth of this family as they went from three to four and now as sweet Meryl turned one year old!

We started our session at The Cove Park in Normandy Park which is actually where Ashley and Dylan got married! Such a sweet experience to have them here year after year and relive those sweet memories. After The Cove we traveled to the most beautiful little botanical gardens in Seatac, Washington to finish off with a few more photos.

There are a few things I loved about this session. The first being how relaxed and flexible this family always is with our photoshoots; we get to exercise a lot of creative freedom and have tons of fun! The other thing I loved was that they wore a color palette that was more subdued which was really awesome because it helped me to be able to focus more on their facial expressions and interactions as well as show off the beautiful nature we were exploring.
