Maddie + Logan Independence Day Micro Wedding in Seattle, Washington

Maddie + Logan’s July Independence Day Summer Micro Wedding celebration in Seattle, Washington was full of so much joy, family support, and FIREWORKS!

Like many weddings this year, Maddie + Logan’s original plans were to get married and celebrate in one of their local churches and have hundreds of their favorite people in attendance. As we all know how the world turned around in the Spring, they quickly shifted gears in the MOST beautiful way possible. Maddie got ready with her soon to be sisters-in-law, Logan got to see Maddie for the first time on a sweet little spot on Redondo Beach, and the two of them celebrated with their immediate and close extended families in the most perfect backyard ceremony and reception at a dear friend’s home!

One of my favorite things about this wedding was how welcoming, warm, and loving each and every person was that day. Everyone in attendance and making the day happen was full of pure joy and elation for Maddie + Logan and the future they were creating together that day. I truly felt like a part of the family and thoroughly and genuinely enjoyed celebrating with all of them!

The BEST surprise of this day was when the neighbors started launching FIREWORKS from the road! Maddie + Logan originally planned to have some fireworks but decided not to so this was SO fun to be able to incorporate in their photos. The first fireworks photos you’ll see are right after we heard the first one, and I jumped onto the group so fast so we could make sure to capture the moment! It was truly a wedding for the books.

PS: This wedding was one of those cool “small world” moments. Maddie + Logan lived in the same dorm building that I did in our first year of college, and although I didn’t know them well, I saw their relationship begin and bloom that first year! Maddie eventually became roommates with one of my best friends, and Logan’s sister was in one of my Small Groups a couple of years ago. It’s so beautiful how the world is so vast yet wraps all of us into each other’s lives so wonderfully!

Enjoy!!
